We stayed at Casa Barka for a few days for a little getaway. The staff, especially the receptionist, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even changed our room because we wanted a balcony door that could lock. The location was perfect, right on 5th Avenue, surrounded by action. Yes, it was noisy, but who goes to bed early in Playa del Carmen anyways? The room was clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the staff even lent me a phone charger since I didn't have an adapter. a great experience at a good price.
